Part 3: Layout Housekeeping Tricks

Rearranging Sections:

  • If you want to move a layout block, look at the left edge of its row bar where its order number is shown (e.g., 12 Callout Content or 13 Callout Content).

  • Hover your cursor over that number until the pointer changes to a four-way drag arrow icon.

  • Click and hold, then drag the block up or down to change where it sits on the page. Release your mouse button to drop it into place.

Deleting Sections:

  • Hover your mouse over the right-hand edge of the section header row you want to remove.

  • Click the minus icon (-) or settings menu button that appears to delete that specific block from the Content Generator list.

Collapsing Sections for Cleaner Editing:

  • Working with long pages can make the editing screen cluttered. You can click on the gray title bar of any layout block to collapse it.

  • This hides its inner fields from view without deleting any data, making it much easier to scroll through and organize your page sections. Click the title bar a second time to expand the fields when you need to edit them.
